The Mercury Sable is a mid-size vehicle available in GS, GS Premium, GS Plus, LS, LS Plus, and LS Premium in either wagon or sedan. Sable is offering two kinds of engines, the OHV 12-valve Vulcan V6 and the DOHC 24-valve Duratec V6. Both engines have 3.0-liter displacement. The 12-valve V6 generates 153 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 186pound-feet of torque at 3250 rpm, while the 24-valve V6 reaches 200 horsepower at 5500 rpm and a torque of 200 pound-feet at 4500 rpm.
