1992 Mercury Sable

Ford have revamped the 1992 Mercury Sable was, so as the Taurus. The body had undergone restyling, but the overall shape remained the same. However many body panels were new, such as Sable's lightbar, taillights and smoothened body sides. The size was not changed except its length. The interior was made fresher with less angular dash, illuminated power window switches, and new seat and door trim designs. Larger gauges and optional passenger's side airbag were offered. Sable's trim levels are the GS and LS sedan and wagon. Mercury Sable is Equipped with 3.0-liter V6 engine with automatic transmission. The V6 engine is fuel injected. Some of the Sables up to this time are still in very good shape, comfortable and performs well. However there are also Sables that are in not in good terms anymore. Problems on vehicles on the early generations will arise due to aging and poor maintenance.
